Last Will and Testament

I, the undersigned, your full name, Identity Number SA ID number, born on your date of birth, presently residing at your residential address, being of sound mind and not acting under any duress, do hereby declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking, cancelling and annulling all wills, codicils and testamentary writings previously made by me.

1. Marital status

I am unmarried at the time of executing this Will.

2. Children and dependants

I have no children or dependants at the date of this Will.

4. Appointment of executor

I nominate Avermont (Pty) Ltd (the “Corporate Executor”) to be the Executor of my estate, with full power of assumption.

The Corporate Executor shall be entitled to nominate one or more of its directors, employees or duly authorised agents to administer my estate on its behalf. Such nomination shall take effect upon endorsement by the Master of the High Court on the Letters of Executorship issued under section 14 of the Administration of Estates Act 66 of 1965, and the natural person so nominated shall enjoy all the powers, rights and protections conferred on the Corporate Executor under this Will.

The Corporate Executor shall furnish security to the satisfaction of the Master as contemplated in section 23 of the Administration of Estates Act 66 of 1965. The premium for such security shall be paid out of and form part of the costs of administration of my estate, as contemplated in section 51 of the Act.

Should the Corporate Executor at any time be unable or unwilling to act, or cease to exist, the Master is requested to appoint an alternate Executor in its place.

10. Residue of my estate

I bequeath the residue of my estate, after the payment of all my debts, the costs of administration, any Estate Duty payable, and the specific bequests above, as follows:

I sign this Will in the presence of two witnesses present at the same time, and I initial every page in their presence and in the presence of each other. Each witness has initialled every page in my presence and in the presence of each other.
